I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI where I studied Art at Western Michigan University. Upon completion of my studies, I relocated to Philadelphia and went on to take part in the Industrial Design program at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. It was the Color Theory class that ushered me into the love of painting.
My work represents my appreciation of colors, movement and abstract design. It also reflects what I find most important in my community; transparency, growth and an abundance of life. Being able to create pieces that engage my audience and spark dialogue is paramount.
I've participated in shows up and down the east coast, as well as shows in the state of Washington. Although I enjoy showing my work, what I desire most is to teach people how to paint as a tool of emotional liberation and empowerment.
I am currently living in Seattle, WA working as a custom framer. In my spare time I do personal training, and t-shirt design..
